The start

So we will see how good I actually do with keeping this updated. But for starters here we go. Thanksgiving Break is almost here and I and the girls are all excited for a break from each other. Love them to death but it is time for a break. Here is a picture of my girls at our floor party last weekend. It was really fun we did fondue and watched Karate Kid. To me there is nothing funnier than watching a group of Asian students watch Karate Kid:)

10 from China, 2 from Korea, 2 from Vietnam, 1 from Taiwan, 1 from Singapore, 1 from Russia, and 1 from the U.S. 15 of the 18 are seniors and I have 3 juniors which is odd because typically my floor is reserved for the senior girls. Oscar gets along with them but they aren't nearly as friendly with him as the girls from last year. There are a few that are scared to death. They will get over it.

Wedding plans are coming...coming...yes that is it. We have a couple of big decisions made but there are still plenty of other big ones that we need to finalize ASAP! It is just so hard being 1200 miles from where the wedding will be. But I do have plenty of people up there who want/ and have helped a ton already. At Christmas Geoff and I are going to register and I am really excited about that. I am working on a list of things we need to register for and then I will break down as to where the best place would be to register for the stuff so we stay more organized with all of that. We are 236 days out which is sooooo close! I can't believe it but I am super excited!!!

I got to go to my church here for the first time in like a month. It was soo good to be able to go...I love it!! It's a big church but never have I ever felt like I was in a big church. At times something big churches lack is the sense of personal touch which I was worried about. But I feel at home. One of my other favorite things about Real Life is at any given service, whether it is Saturday or Sunday, there is always a genuine sense of worship. I am not sure that I have ever been in a church that has had a little bit more of a contemporary style of praise and see elderly people with their hands raised. I am not talking like people in their late 50's or 60's. I am talking some of these people are much older, in their 70's or higher and they have their hands lifted high. It just always touches my heart so dearly to see that. You anticipate in a setting like that to see younger generations worshipping like that but to see older generations...the saints of the church really doing always gets me. I love it!!!

Today is Monday which means DWTS! I love that show, however I am super sad Kurt Warner is no longer on the show...I know he isn't the best dancer but still fun to watch and a good person with a fun faith!:)

Happy Monday!
